MBIE Science and Innovation International Opportunity
ASPIRE  is an annual APEC science prize for Innovation, Research and Education (“ASPIRE”) is an annual award which recognizes young scientists who have demonstrated a commitment to both excellence in scientific research, as evidenced by scholarly publication, and cooperation with scientists from other APEC member economies. Each economy nominates a young scientist and a single winner is then chosen. This call is to select our Aotearoa nominee - closes 30 April. The theme this year focuses on researcher insights from indigenous and ethnic minority cultures and communities to help inform new frontiers in science, technology, and innovation.  So we're looking for Indigenous researchers who are aged under 40 years (at December 2021) and who do mahi broadly related to sustainable and inclusive growth. Collaboration with researchers in any of the other 20 APEC economies (e.g,., Australia, Canada, United States, Papua New Guineau, Peru) is desirable.
