2013 Horizons of Insight Seminars

The first Horizons of Insight Seminar for 2013 was held in March, with Professor Charles Royal speaking on “Creative Potential” – the vision and concept underpinning the strategy of Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga. Click here to watch the video

On May 29th, Dr Joseph Te Rito spoke about the development and enhancement of a corpus of conversational recordings in the  Māori language for teaching purposes. Follow the link for more details.

The June seminar was held Wednesday, June 26th. This will be led by Principal Investigator Associate Professor Paul Kayes, along with Kia Maia Ellis and Hemi O’Callaghan. Associate Professor Kayes leads the NPM project “An investigation into the fisheries resources and interests of iwi, hapū and marae within Tauranga Moana and the impacts caused by the grounding of the CV Rena”
