Applications for the 2018 Fulbright-NPM Graduate Award are open.

The Fulbright-Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga Graduate Award is for a promising New Zealand graduate student to undertake postgraduate study or research at a US institution in the field of Indigenous development.

One award valued at up to US$40,000 (plus NZ$4,000 travel funding) is granted annually for up to one year of study or research in the US. Students undertaking multi-year Masters or PhD degrees have the opportunity to apply for additional funding of up to US$30,000 towards their second year of study.

A Fulbright exchange provides life-changing opportunities to gain international experience and advance your career, to explore America, to share your culture and to make friends and colleagues from around the world. Grantees undertake an exchange to their choice of leading American universities, which are world renowned for their expertise and resources.

This award is offered in partnership with Fulbright New Zealand and Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga.

The award is available for study or research that fits within and contributes to the one of the NPM Research Programme and NPM’s priorities and themes.
