2017 NPM Knowledge Event Support Grant
Purpose: The NPM Knowledge Event Support Grant is designed to support an event where research knowledge of a transformative nature will be shared amongst key audiences, such as communities, policy makers, academics and researchers. Events that will be funded include conferences, symposia, community or other hui, wānanga, colloquia, workshops, performances and/or exhibitions.
This grant should be regarded as partial support only, and applicants are encouraged to seek co-funding from alternative sources or sponsorship. Considerable care should be taken in the preparation of the budget, with projected costs being as realistic as possible.
Eligibility: All Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga grants and awards are positioned to advance aspects of the NPM's Research Programme and as such applicants must be senior students, emerging or senior Māori researchers at one of NPM's Partner Institutions.
Value: up to $10,000 (ex GST). Expect at least 5 awards (total maximum funding is $50,000).
Applications: Applications close at 4.00pm on the 26 April 2017. Applicants should allow one month for the application selection process to take place after the advertised closing date, and will be notified of the outcome at the earliest opportunity.
