15 November, 2010 - 16 November, 2010

Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga hosted this two-day research symposium to provide a much needed national platform for researchers, policy makers and communities to discuss issues surrounding Water. The topic is broad, wide-ranging and of vital importance to the future of Aotearoa New Zealand. The management and restoration of rivers and waterways are essential for a healthy environment and we must undo mistakes and learn from the past. Appropriately managing water-related food resources is a major challenge for the future.

06 June, 2010 - 09 June, 2010

This conference addressed the question of difference. What are the costs to communities and society of failing to understand others? Can we reflect on our own assumptions and practice, our shared past and present and imagine and pursue a better future for individuals and the greater collective?
